We realize pets aren’t just animals we choose to take care of; they’re part of the family. Pets are our best friends and stand by our sides through life’s ups and downs. It’s 2022; pet-friendly apartment living isn’t a want; it’s a need.

Many apartment communities say they’re “pet-friendly” yet aren’t fond of pets or their owners. Here at The Village at Fox River, we’re proud to say we are located within the Fox River Parkway North, where dogs are encouraged to join you on a leash. Our residents are central to numerous dog parks, veterinarians, and pet stores.

Take your dog to Mac Arthur Dog Run and Minooka Dog Park for off-leash fun just minutes from our community. Ensure your pet has an annual check-up at Waukesha’s Animal Wellness Center or Weston Veterinary Clinic (don’t forget to give them a treat for being on their best behavior). Remember, you are part of your pet’s pack; it’s imperative to spend time with them and expend their energy to prevent separation anxiety.

The best part about a pet-friendly apartment community? There are other animals in the building! Take the time to meet other pets and their owners. You (and your pet) will not only make friends, but you will also create a community of like-minded, pet-loving individuals.
